Sunbeam Family Services

The Sunbeam Early Education Center opened in fall 2025 as a demonstration school and replicable model of excellence in early childhood education. The center integrates best practices in teaching, curriculum, and school management to create a blueprint for improving outcomes statewide. Its foundation is a research-driven curriculum supporting cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, paired with robust professional development to equip teachers through ongoing training, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. Mental health services are embedded, providing early intervention for children and families. Family and community engagement is central, with partnerships across businesses, healthcare, and local organizations to expand childcare access and multigenerational supports through a Head Start and Family Resource Center model. The school also serves as a workforce training hub, offering Child Development Associate (CDA) candidates hands-on experience. Sunbeam’s goals include innovative learning, workforce development, expanded supports, and strengthened collaborations that elevate statewide early education.
