CCFI will use the grant funding for its Bringing Up Babies program, which ensures that families in central Oklahoma receive high-quality home visitation services. The Bringing Up Babies program has grown exponentially and now consists of a supervisor, four full time parent educators, and a part-time parent educator, including one parent educator in Pottawattamie County. The program is designed to offer early intervention to families at risk for child abuse or neglect.
From 2023 to 2025, services have expanded over 200%, with 232 clients receiving monthly home visitation services in 2025.Outcomes from 2025 show that 100% of parents reported improving their parenting efficacy, increased parent and child interaction and increased role satisfaction. Through this program, CCFI seeks to prevent child abuse and neglect from ever beginning as well as breaking generational cycles of abuse and neglect within these high-risk families. Monthly group connections provide opportunities for networking and forming a community among program participants.
